ANTIQUES AND RUGS

When Liz Trickett returned from 25 years abroad, she purchased and restored the old Children's Court.
All signs of institutional usage were ripped out and lovely huge old bedrooms were returned to their original size. A magnificent cedar staircase took
three months to restore, and even longer for the
beauty of the rare Kauri flooring and ornate old
ceilings to be revealed.

Finally the personal touches were added - Persian rugs, some good artwork, polished antiques and crystal cut glass in the bedrooms.
